Will Mack Allen, age 89, a native of Millcreek Twp, Fountain Co died at 3 a.m. Friday, July 29 in the Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton where he had been a patient two weeks. Mr. Allen was born Aug 22, 1877 in Millcreek Twp, the son of George & Rose McKee Allen. He was a member of the Cates EUB Church and was a life resident of Fountain County. A retired farmer, he spent most of his life in Millcreek, Fulton and Wabash townships. He had made his home at the Laymon Nursing Home in Clinton for the past 2 years. Funeral services were held 4 pm. Sunday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Burial in Cooper Chapel Church Cemetery.

Cates, Ind -- Will Mack Allen, 89, died at 3 a.m. today (July 29, 1966) in Vermillion County Hospital, Clinton where he had been a patient two weeks. Born Aug 22, 1877 in Mill Creek Twp Mr. Allen made his home at the Laymon Nursing Home in Clinton the past two years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Goerge and Rose McKee Allen a daughter and sister. He was married to Lillie G. Orahood Feb 12, 1902 who also preceded him in death on June 19, 1929. Survivors include a brother Homer Allen of Punta Gorda Fla and a asister Mrs. Margaret Rennick of Covington. Mr. Allen was a member of the Cates EUB Church and a life resident of Fountain County. A retired farmer he spent most of his life in MillCreek, Fulton & Wabash Twp. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with burial in Coopers Cem. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday.
